Support Worker Supported Accommodation (Young People)
This role will involve Lone Working.
Hours:
* Day shift: 8:00am 5:00pm
* Late sleep shift: 5:00pm 8:30am
* (Shifts worked on a rota basis)
About the Role
We are looking for a compassionate and motivated Support Worker to join our Supported Accommodation service for young people. You will play a key role in helping young people develop independence, life skills, and confidence, while ensuring they feel safe, listened to, and supported.
You will work as part of a flexible and creative team, building trusting relationships and delivering high-quality, trauma-informed support. This role includes key worker responsibilities, where you will coordinate and personalise support to help young people achieve positive outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
1. Provide nurturing, trauma-informed support that meets the individual needs, wishes, and aspirations of young people
2. Act as a positive role model, maintaining high standards and a safe, supportive environment
3. Deliver regular key work sessions focused on developing independence and life skills
4. Support young people with education, employment, training, leisure activities, finances, and benefit claims
