Here at Human Appeal, we have an exciting opportunity for a Business Intelligence Manager to join our team based in Cheadle, Greater Manchester. You will join us on a full-time basis as part of an initial 1-year fixed-term contract with a view to progressing into a permanent role. In return, you will receive a market-competitive salary depending on experience.

As Business Intelligence Manager, the successful candidate will play an integral role in leading the planning, coordinating, and supervising activities related to the design, development, and implementation of organizational reporting and analytics, while also ensuring the maintenance, support, and upgrade of reports, dashboards, and data warehouses. The Business Intelligence Manager will collaborate with multiple departments to support data-driven decision making and enhance organizational performance.

Key duties and responsibilities of the Business Intelligence Manager include:
* Establish a Data Quality Management process
* Work closely with related managers to establish automated processes as required
* Standardize reporting and dashboards for all Human Appeal departments
* Implement a Data Analytics and Insights function
* Manage and collaborate with key stakeholders
What we’re looking for in our Business Intelligence Manager include:
* A degree in Business Intelligence or IT-related equivalent and project management qualification or extensive experience
* A strong background in business intelligence, data governance, and analytics, with proven leadership skills to standardize and improve data processes across the organization
* Experience in project planning, execution, and delivery
Desirable qualifications:
* Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Administrator, Advanced Administrator, Tableau certifications)
* Certifications in data analytics or business intelligence tools, such as Tableau Specialist or Power BI Data Analyst
* Nonprofit/Charity sector experience
* Advanced analytics knowledge
Skills:
* Proficiency in BI tools like Power BI, Tableau, QlikView, or similar
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify trends and insights from data
* Expertise in SQL and data warehousing concepts (if applicable)
* Understanding of data management disciplines and best practices
* Fluent written and spoken English; additional languages such as Arabic and Urdu are desirable
* Passionate and knowledgeable about the international development sector
