Your place of work, what to expect
This is a great opportunity to join a group of leaders who will support your career progression as well as developing your knowledge into becoming an expert. In this position, you’ll be working with a team of inspiring service experts in our brand new, award winning Cast Iron Bar & Grill. The restaurant, in the heart of Heathrow, welcomes his guests with a modern and friendly atmosphere. The Menu, cooked to perfection by our Executive Chef Amitabha and his team is made with fresh and flavorful locally sourced products. Our flagship restaurant team is guided by our Restaurant and Bar Manager Abhinu, who ensures we provide an attentive, spotless and friendly service. J
The impact you’ll make
Breakfast, lunch or dinner, the best meals aren’t just made by our brilliant chefs. They’re made even more memorable by the great service our guests enjoy. As one of our Waiters, you’ll make sure you know every dish on the menu, so you can make recommendations and answer any questions customers may have. You’ll make sure their food and drinks are served quickly, efficiently and with a smile - and if there are any issues, you’ll deal with them right away. Thanks to you, our guests will feel well-fed, happy and wanting to come back for more.
What you’ll do
1. Take guests’ food and beverage orders, making recommendations on menu items and taking opportunities to upsell where appropriate
2. Ensure that all customers enjoy quick and efficient service, and check with them that the meal is meeting their expectations
3. Ensure that the restaurant is set up and ready for each service period
4. Take responsibility for ensuring the overall cleanliness of the restaurant and buffet area, as well as the kitchen and potentially the bar area

This role also requires the ability to move and lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs. In addition, you’ll need to be able to reach overhead and below your knees, including bending, twisting, pulling and stooping, and move over uneven or sloping surfaces. Prior to employment, we’ll ask you to complete safety training and certification.
