You can find out more about these key aspects of our school on our website Clovenstone Primary School – Kind, Safe, Proud The role of a Business Manager is to support the Headteacher in all non-curricular aspects of school management, ensuring these aspects operate effectively, including Finance, HR, Information Governance, Resources, Facilities, Information Technology and Health and Safety and the successful candidate should have experience in some or all of these areas. Experience of leading support services in an educational setting and leading people, is desirable. The Business Manager will be responsible for maintaining and developing operational efficiency across Early Years and Primary within the school and working in partnership with multiple external agencies and contractors. This post is regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. Where an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more out with the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required. You will be required to provide this check.
