Teaching Personnel is working closely with a warm, reputable primary school in Eastbourne that’s on the lookout for an enthusiastic and caring Primary Teaching Assistant to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the classroom — no cape required, but superhero energy encouraged.

The Role:
As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you’ll be:
* Supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1 or KS2 (depending on your strengths)
* Working 1:1 or in small groups to boost confidence and learning
* Helping to create a positive, inclusive and engaging classroom environment
* Assisting the class teacher with lesson preparation and classroom management
* Being a calm, reassuring presence — even when the glitter gets everywhere

The Ideal Candidate:
* Has experience working with children (school-based experience is a bonus, but not essential)
* Brings enthusiasm, patience and a good sense of humour
* Understands that learning isn’t one-size-fits-all
* Is reliable, adaptable and genuinely enjoys helping children thrive
* Holds (or is willing to apply for) an enhanced DBS on the update service
