EduTalent Group is seeking a compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs in a Crawley school. This is a temp to perm role, ideal for someone passionate about helping pupils overcome challenges and achieve their potential.
Key responsibilities:
* Support pupils with SEMH in class and small group interventions
* Assist teachers in behaviour management and engagement strategies
* Provide one-to-one or small group support tailored to individual needs
* Encourage social, emotional, and academic development
* Maintain a safe, structured, and nurturing learning environment
Requirements
* Experience supporting pupils with SEMH
* Calm, patient, and empathetic approach
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Ability to follow guidance and adapt to individual pupil needs
* Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain)
