Who we need

We are looking for a Learning & Skills Assessor to join our EMTEC team. Successful applicants will undertake workplace visits in person and online, supporting automotive apprentices throughout their learning journey. Responsibilities include:

* Enrolling new apprentices onto the programme
* Conducting Progress Reviews with apprentices and employers
* Liaising with the college’s Technical Training Team
* Helping apprentices’ mentors understand their roles
* Ensuring compliance with KPIs and funding rules
* Developing employer relations and engaging in business development activities


What you’ll bring

You will be a dynamic, forward-thinking individual capable of providing high-quality support. As a Learning & Skills Assessor, you will:

* Be an exceptional communicator across all levels
* Be well-organized, managing your own diary and caseload
* Work collaboratively to deliver an outstanding learning experience
* Have good ICT skills, with knowledge of Microsoft 365 and OneFile being advantageous
* Pay close attention to detail to ensure funding rules are followed
* Hold qualifications such as CAVA/A1/D32 D33, V1/D34, AET/PTLLS or be willing to work towards them
* Hold a full UK Driving Licence and own car
