Qualifications and Requirements
* Maths & English at Level 4 / Grade C or above (or equivalent)
* A highly motivated individual committed to giving 100% to training
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* Driving licence is an advantage (training may involve travel to the Alderley Edge campus)
* Trainees already enrolled on a Dental Nurse course will be considered
* Must achieve Level 2 English and Maths (equivalent to GCSE grades A–C) before the end‑point assessment
* Successful completion of an 18‑24 month training programme will award a Level 3 qualification
Responsibilities
* Provide the best patient care from the moment a patient walks into the practice until they leave
* Support dental professionals and provide chair‑side assistance to enable high‑quality patient care
* Participate in training to learn about infectious disease transmission and prevention
* Gain knowledge of dental materials, equipment and resources
* Learn how to respond to medical emergencies
* Understand and comply with legislative, regulatory and professional requirements
* Develop clinical skills, health promotion and patient care and management techniques
