POST: Trust IT Technician
LOCATION: Schools across the Trust
GRADE: Band D SCP 9-17
SALARY: £27,255 - £31,022 per annum
An outstanding opportunity has arisen for a talented individual with an inquisitive nature and excellent attention to detail to join our IT Support Team working across our schools based in the Black Country.
Responsibilities
* Provide technical support and expertise across the Trust’s schools
* Hardware repairs of laptops/tablets
* Installation of Microsoft Windows on standalone devices and networked PCs
* Good understanding of Office 365 Outlook, OneDrive for Business, Exchange, Teams and SharePoint Online
* Installation of Microsoft Office Suite
* Setup of computer hardware, software and systems
* Setup of network printers, installation of software locally and through package allocation
* Computer troubleshooting from diagnostics to data backup, upgrade or rebuild
* Computer viruses and security
* Basic Microsoft Azure Active Directory, users and permissions knowledge
Applicants must have a flexible customer-focused approach and be able to travel and transfer equipment between schools as required.
Qualifications and requirements
* Minimum of two years’ experience in the IT sector
