We are looking for a Part Time Permanent Retail Assistant to join the team in our Strikes Garden Centre.
Our competitive rates of pay vary depending on age. The hours for this position are 8.5 per week on Sunday.
Overview
Part Time Permanent Retail Assistant at Strikes Garden Centre. You will provide excellent customer service and help customers make informed purchases in a welcoming shopping environment.
Responsibilities
* Till operation and serving customers
* Stock replenishment and merchandising across all departments
* Creating and maintaining product displays
* Assisting customers across the Centre, taking every opportunity to wow
* Carry out cleaning and housekeeping tasks as needed
* Assist customers with carrying purchases to their cars
* Collecting trolleys and shopping baskets
Qualifications
* Friendly, engaging personality and a genuine love for customer service
* Knowledge of Garden Centre products preferred but not essential, as full training will be given
* Strong customer service skills
* Excellent communication skills
* Great teamwork
* Hardworking
* Shift flexibility including weekends
* The ability to work well and efficiently under pressure
