The Role:
As a MET Technician, you'll be responsible for the mechanical, electrical, and trim work required to return damaged vehicles to pre-accident condition.
Key Responsibilities:
* Dismantle and reassemble vehicles in accordance with job cards and repair estimates.
* Work to manufacturer methods and safety standards.
* Identify and report any additional repair work required.
* Ensure all parts are fitted correctly and unused parts are returned for credit.
* Complete all jobs to a high standard within estimated timescales.
* Supervise and support non-qualified or junior team members where needed.
* Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant work environment.
Key Requirements:
* Proven experience in a Bodyshop MET Technician role.
* ATA Accreditation (preferred but not essential).
* Strong mechanical, electrical, and trim skills.
* Attention to detail with a focus on quality and safety.
* Ability to follow repair methods and complete work within timeframes.
