We are looking for compassionate and committed Healthcare Assistants in Tamworth, who are passionate about delivering the highest quality two-to-one care and one-to-one for our service user, building positive relationships with them and their family while enabling them to live as independently as possible in his family home.
Meet our service user
Our service user is in his early 30's and lives with his family in Tamworth, he requires care on a 1:1 basis throughout the day and night.
At home he likes to spend time watching films and is a big fan of all Star Wars movies. He also loves playing his PlayStation especially games like Uncharted.
He enjoys listening to music, particularly heavy metal music and loves going out to live gigs and festivals. One of his favourite music festivals to go to is Glastonbury.
Main duties of the job
Throughout the day you will provide support with his personal care, moving and handling, attending to his clinical care needs when required and assisting him to enjoy his hobbies and interests.
Throughout the night you will be required to attend to his complex and clinical care needs, support with personal care, moving & handling, repositioning, regular monitoring and offering comfort and reassurance when needed to promote a restful nights sleep
Shifts Available
1. Full Time and Part Time Available 2-4 shifts per week
2. Days- 8am - 8pm
3. Nights- 8pm8am

Weekdays: £ per hour (Approx. £156 per 12 hour shift)
Weeknights: £ per hour (£162 approx. per 12 hour shift)
Saturday : £ per hour(£162 approx. per 12 hour shift)
Sunday : £ per hour (£162 approx. per 12 hour shift)
Bank Holiday : £ per hour(£168 approx. per 12 hour shift)

Job responsibilities
The role of a Healthcare Assistant (HCA) is to work without direct supervision in the home of the service user providing care and support including personal, social, and domestic support whilst adhering to the service users individual care and support plan.
The aim of the position is to enable service users to remain safely in their own home with as much independence as possible.
Alongside providing care and support in a professional, discreet, and caring manner, always ensuring the service users right to privacy and dignity is maintained
