Duties for the position of Construction Project Manager in Oxfordshire include:
* Initially to manage a project upgrade, specifically around Fire Safety of a large site in Oxfordshire, including dry risers, fire doors and balcony replacements.
* Acting as the client and managing the principle contractor.
* Take ownership of current and future projects under your control.
* Effectively manage all construction related elements within the designated building portfolio to which the role relates.
* Ensure that controls are implemented in respect of building work carried out in the managed stock to which the role relates.
* To engage with Property Services colleagues and stakeholders as required.
* Developing, delivering and promoting effective communications, teamwork and engagement with internal and external stakeholders and partners to ensure the delivery of efficient services.
* Benchmark good practise and keep up to date with current legislation.
* To contribute to resident engagement where required, particularly ensuring that safety concerns are recorded, monitored and dealt with appropriately.
* Engage with relevant internal staff to ensure that roles are performed effectively in accordance with the Corporate Policies such as Fire, CDM etc.
* Produce regular reporting on performance and quality reports within live documents.
* The ability to work from home, office or site locations as required to deliver the role, demonstrating a flexible approach to working as part of the team in support of service objectives.
* Deliver high performance, strong engagement and a commitment to continuous improvement in support of the People Strategy and the client’s values.
* Holding a relevant membership such as CIOB would be advantageous.
