The programme builds on the very latest research evidence and experience of project management in practice. It will enable participants to emerge with a rounded skill set encompassing all facets of the project lifecycle.
This apprenticeship enables current or aspiring project managers to develop their knowledge, skills, and behaviours to drive performance and productivity improvements in their organisation.
Responsibilities include:
* Ensuring company Health, Safety & Wellbeing policies and procedures are adhered to and fully implemented during project delivery
* Conducting documented safety inspections
* Writing & submitting Construction Phase Plans
* Ensuring environmental policies and permits are in place and adhered to during project delivery
* Supporting testing and commissioning, providing quality assurance documents
* Coordinating with third parties such as Local Authority Highways Teams and attending site meetings
* Participating in pre-construction and construction progress meetings
* Managing and updating the project programme, identifying opportunities and risks
* Scheduling and attending lookahead/coordination meetings with Site Managers
* Capturing and issuing progress photos
* Reviewing new sites with the pre-construction team and assisting with project estimates
* Working with the Quantity Surveyor on monthly forecasts
This is a Level 6 Construction Site Management Degree Apprenticeship, with time split between university and site work in South West England. You will be part of a wider cohort of Degree Apprentices across the Renew Group, gaining core skills and networking opportunities.
The role involves working Monday to Friday, 07:30 - 17:30, with a half-hour unpaid lunch break.
