We are recruiting for a creative and driven Social Media and Marketing Assistant. This is a newly created role, offering a blank canvas to develop and implement social media strategies that enhance brand presence and audience engagement.
Responsibilities
1. Develop, implement, and manage social media strategies across various platforms to increase brand awareness and engagement.
2. Create engaging content, including graphics, videos, and written posts, tailored to each social media platform.
3. Monitor social media channels for trends, comments, and feedback, responding promptly to enhance community engagement.
4. Collaborate with the wider team to ensure social media campaigns meet objectives.
5. Analyze performance to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and adjust strategies as needed.
6. Stay up-to-date with the latest social media best practices, trends, and technologies to keep our brand relevant.
7. Assist in managing public relations efforts through social media channels to promote a positive brand image.
Experience
1. Proven experience in social media management, preferably in a similar role within a fast-paced environment.
2. Strong understanding of public relations principles and their application to social media.
3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an eye for detail.
4. Proficiency in using social media management tools.
5. Ability to work collaboratively within a team and also be self-motivated and proactive.
6. A creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative ideas that capture audience interest.
