About the role
Reporting into the Compliance Manager you will define changes to operational processes and systems arising out of changes to UK pensions framework, Collective Money Purchase Regulations, and scheme Trust Deed and Rules. You will review and recommend distribution of death benefits under discretions delegated by Trustee.
You will also support in the resolution of complex precedent cases, ensuring all legal and specialist advice is fully documented for future reference. You will process payment of any compensation where maladministration is determined following investigation under the RMCPP IDR process. You will ensure that your own technical knowledge remains up to date to enable continued delivery of an excellent service.
About You
- Educated to at least A level standard with strong English Language and Mathematics at GCSE level (grades C to A*)
- Possess or be willing to study for a professional pensions or payroll qualification via a Workplace Pensions Apprenticeship scheme
- Ideally have track record as an experienced pensions or payroll practitioner with a broad understanding of pensions legislation, particularly DC, DB and Career Average schemes
- Proven experience of delivering a professional, customer focussed service
- Demonstrably strong written and verbal communication skills
- In:depth knowledge of all Microsoft Office software : Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Proven planning and organisational skills, including experience of delivering to demanding timescales
- Well:developed analytical and reporting skills
Bonus and pay progression
Your pay progression and starting salary will be determined by your experience, performance, and the qualifications you have and earn. You could also be eligible for GBP 1500 Welcome bonus payable on successful completion of probation. We also offer bonuses of up to GBP 1,200 (4x GBP 300 each quarter) depending on performance.
