Gas Manager

Location: Birmingham

Salary: £39,780 per annum

Hours: Full-time, 37.5 per week

Contract Type: Permanent

About the role

With ambitious goals to reduce carbon emissions by 2035 and invest in renewable energy solutions, we are looking for a dynamic and experienced Gas Manager to lead our Gas, Electrical and Renewable Services.

As Gas Manager, you will manage and supervise the day-to-day delivery of all heating and hot water systems across our domestic and commercial properties. This includes Gas and Electrical servicing, repairs, and installations. You'll also play a key role in driving innovation through renewable energy projects and future-proofing our services.

What you'll be doing

* Planning and co-ordinating annual Gas and Electrical servicing in line with Gas Safe and NICEIC requirements.
* Leading on renewable energy initiatives to support our carbon reduction commitments.
* Managing internal engineers and external contractors to deliver a high-quality, customer-focused service.
* Ensuring compliance with all Gas, Electrical and Health & Safety regulations.
* Driving value for money, service improvements and strong contractor performance.
* Overseeing complaints, KPIs and customer satisfaction targets.

Who we're looking for?

We are looking for someone with proven experience in managing Gas and Electrical services, ideally within the housing sector. You will be a strong leader with the ability to inspire and motivate teams, whilst maintaining a focus on compliance, quality, and customer service.

You'll bring:

* Experience in Gas and Electrical servicing, repairs, and compliance management.
* A recognised Gas Safe and 18th Edition Electrical qualification.
* Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and safety standards.
* Excellent leadership and communication skills.
* Ability to manage budgets, contracts, and performance data effectively.
* Experience of delivering renewable energy or low-carbon heating projects (desirable).
* A full UK driving licence and flexibility to participate in the out-of-hours rota.
