HR Business Partner - 6 months contract (maternity cover)

Designer Parfums is a fast-growing company in the perfume and cosmetics industry, with a UK base and
international ambitions. Brands we operate include GHOST, ARIANA GRANDE, JENNIFER LOPEZ, HAWAIIAN
TROPIC, CERRUTI, PLAYBOY, GUY LAROCHE, PALOMA PICASSO, and other international brands.
JOB PURPOSE
To work in partnership with management, key stakeholders, and HR colleagues to shape, develop and deliver the HR strategy and agenda, supporting the delivery of the strategic goals within the functions successfully, helping to make Designer Parfums the Employer of choice.
Operate as the HR expert by providing effective support, advice, guidance and coaching to all employees and managers to drive a high-performing culture.
Take a lead role on project delivery as well as coaching and mentoring leaders in the business, ensuring consistently high standards of HR business partnering.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Delivering key HR initiatives and providing expert HR advice and guidance to employees and
managers on all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including workforce planning, recruitment, and
selection, induction, performance management, talent management, restructuring, redundancies,
employee relations, pay and reward, engagement and wellbeing.
• Maintaining a clear understanding and providing advice & guidance on all legal queries, developing HR policies in line with current legislation and keeping up to date with HR procedures and best practice.
• Act as point of contact and subject matter expert on employee relations. Fostering strong working relationships that will enable you to influence management and maximise performance.
• Proactively lead, manage and successfully deliver complex cross-functional projects, including
engagement, effective communication and up-skilling activities.
• Managing individuals or teams through performance management procedures, ensuring under
performance is managed effectively.
• Support the annual performance review process, including relevant training/coaching, communication, follow-up, analysis and reporting.
• Developing and maintaining good relations with the recognised trade unions and leading negotiations.
• Provide HR & project support to the Group Head of HR. Support the development of innovative wellbeing, reward and diversity initiatives that enhance employee wellbeing, improve overall performance and help to make Designer Parfums an employer of choice.
REQUIREMENTS
