Position Overview
NHS Fife welcomes applicants for the post of Senior Clinical Educator. The role supports the development of the hubs and subsequent delivery of education within the ScotCOM program, a new 5‑year MBChB focusing on community‑based medicine in partnership with the University of St Andrews.
Responsibilities
* Contribute to the design and development of ScotCOM learning components.
* Support teaching that complements placements within the hub‑and‑spoke model.
* Help deliver a multidisciplinary approach to teaching alongside a team of Senior Clinical Educators.
* Act as a positive role model for students.
Qualifications
* Background in Nursing, Midwifery, or Allied Health Profession (NMAHP).
Work Hours
The full‑time working week is 36 hours per week, with a corresponding increase in hourly rate so pay is not affected. Part‑time hours are reduced pro‑rata.
Legal & Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must have the right to work in the United Kingdom and will undergo pre‑employment checks. A candidate must become a member of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme before appointment.
