* As a member of the Investment Team, you will be required to work with private-sector developers, businesses, local authorities and a variety of strategic partners to develop and manage a portfolio of investments to businesses and developers across Greater Manchester.
* You will lead on the assessment and structuring of investments, producing detailed financial analysis and risk assessments to make clear, robust recommendations to the Director of Investment and Funds Committees, and managing the successful performance of investments made by the Funds.
* This role will also involve the assessment and development of investment frameworks and business cases for both GMCA and Local Authorities capital projects. The role is critical to supporting Greater Manchesters strategic ambitions specifically, but not limited to, its Housing First strategy.
Salary: £73,896 to £82,840

Your Role

About You
* You will have direct experience of scoping, structuring and monitoring funding, specifically in business and real estate developments, including appropriate credit and risk management practices.
* You should have the skillset and communication skills to constructively challenge business plans and appraisals, whilst establish good working relationships with borrowers/stakeholders.
* You will have the ability to represent the organisation at a senior level in financial, commercial, and general management relationships with other organisations in both public and private sectors.
* You should have a good understanding of the national policy context for local government, alongside experience of managing and leading others, and developing a high performing team.
