About the role:
We are currently seeking a Chef De Partie to join our dedicated team of chefs in Roe Valley. This is an amazing opportunity for a passionate, hardworking chef to progress in their career. If you think you have what it takes, we would love to hear from you!
HOURS: Full-time hours working 4-5 days out of 7.
JOB LOCATION: Roe Valley, Limavady
About The Role
Main duties will include but are not limited to:
* The preparation of local fresh produce and cooking of various cuisines to a very high standard.
* Running a kitchen section and taking responsibility for all dishes in your section ensuring consistent presentation every time.
* Ensuring all meals are delivered on time.
* Manage food standards and quality across all stages of food preparation and production ensuring high standards are consistently met.
* Working alongside the Head Chef and team to create and develop daily and weekly specials.
* Assist in the training and development of junior chefs.
* Ensuring minimum wastage and implementing new ideas for reducing wastage.
* Working within and maintaining all associated Health, Safety, and Hygiene guidelines/procedures while working.
* Comply with company food safety policies and legislation.
* Maintain high levels of cleanliness at all times and making sure your personal appearance and uniform is in line with the required Resort standards at all times.
Applicants must:
* Be passionate about food and have a willingness to work hard in a dynamic evolving kitchen.
* Have at least 1 year of experience working as a Chef de Partie, working within a busy kitchen environment.
* Have a keen eye for detail and great organisational skills.
* Enjoy working as part of a team, be able to multi-task, and work well under pressure.
* Hold basic Food Hygiene Qualification or above.
* Have a flexible approach to working shift patterns and be available to work days/evenings and weekends.
* Must have a good, pleasant manner and be well presented.
* Have a proven track record and shown loyalty throughout their career.

Desired Criteria
* Level 2 Basic Food Hygiene Certificate
* NVQ Level 2 Food Preparation or equivalent
Required Criteria
* Must have a friendly and open disposition
* Must be willing to take instruction
* Enthusiastic and keen to learn new skills
* Must have 1 year’s previous experience in a busy kitchen
* Must be able to travel to work
* Must be available for bank holidays including Christmas holiday period
* Hold Basic Food Hygiene Qualification or above
