An established RBCA are currently recruiting for a self-sufficient Class 2 A / B Registered Building Inspector to oversee residential developments in Bury St Edmunds.Building Inspector responsibilitiesCheck plans for compliance with Building Regulations, structural warranty criteria, and associated guidanceUndertake inspection of works and produce detailed inspection recordsIssue initial notices, plan certificates, amendment notices and final certificatesEnsure inspections have been carried out, with appropriate certification submitted, and that defects/non-conformities have been addressed prior to issuing final certificateOperate in accordance with QMS proceduresProvide mentoring and support for trainee surveyorsAttend client meetings as requiredBuilding Inspector requirementsClass 2A Registered Building Inspector (or actively engaged in the registration process)Construction-based experienceExperience of residential developments from foundation to completionInterpersonal skillsEffective verbal and written communication skillsKnowledge of relevant legislation, standards, and environmental concernsIT literateBenefitsStarting salary circa £48,000 - £55,000Company car / car allowanceBonusHealthcarePayment of 2 professional subscriptionsOngoing training and developmentFor more information regarding the Building Inspector vacancy or to discuss related opportunities, please get in touch via email, or contact 01332 505506.TPBN1_UKTJ
