Role Overview An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Agricultural Liaison Officer to join Major Projects England and Wales team. Savills are looking for an experienced and capable ALO to assist in the construction phase of a nationally significant infrastructure project located near Ipswich. You will be based out of our client’s site office near Ipswich working alongside Client and Savills’ project team to manage arrange access for the principal contractor, ensuring the contractor is adhering to their obligations relating to land and being the primary point of contact for landowners/occupiers. This is a part time role, we are currently seeking somebody 5 days a week for a minimum of 3 months, ideally located close to the project. Your responsibilities will include: Arrange and undertake pre-entry records of condition of fields including identification of existing drainage issues. Ensure contractors aware of pre entry notice provisions and adhered to and manage agreements with landowners in conjunction with client Lands team. Discuss accommodation works with landowners - e.g. water troughs for stock, accesses, water supplies, fencing etc. Assist the project team in discussions re crossing points, including installation, maintenance and removal. Keeping landowners advised about construction matters and project requirements. Interpretation of construction drawings relative to land rights mapping. Assist the construction team in all matters regarding land access. Assist the project team with boundary removal and reinstatement specifications.
