We're looking for a dedicated, proactive, and caring Site Manager to join our school community in the village of Braithwell, near Doncaster.

Purpose of the Role
To lead and manage the site services team including catering, cleaning, and caretaking, ensuring that the school environment is safe, clean, secure and suitable for the needs of autistic children and the wider school community. The postholder will have responsibility of ensuring compliance with Health and Safety regulations, statutory requirements and school policies across the school site. The post holder will work with the Health and Safety lead at Autism East Midlands to ensure the site is compliant for all stakeholders.
What You'll Be Doing:
Leading on all aspects of health and safety across the school site
Conducting regular risk assessments and ensuring compliance with regulations
Managing contractors and overseeing site maintenance and repairs
Supporting emergency planning and safeguarding procedures
Being a friendly, reassuring presence for staff, pupils, and visitors alike
What We're Looking For:
A strong understanding of health and safety legislation
Experience in site or facilities management (school experience is a bonus, but not essential)
Excellent communication and organisational skills
A hands-on, can-do attitude and a genuine care for the wellbeing of others
