We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic SEMH Teacher to join the specialist provision at one of our supportive and inclusive primary schools in Wythenshawe, Manchester. This rewarding role offers the chance to work closely with a small group of pupils who require a nurturing and structured environment in order to thrive.
About the Role:
* Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to pupils with SEMH needs
* Support the academic, emotional, and social development of children in a specialist provision
* Work collaboratively with a committed team including teaching assistants, SENCOs and external agencies
* Foster a trauma-informed, relationship-based approach to behaviour management
* Create a safe, calm and predictable learning environment where every pupil feels valued
What We’re Looking For:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – Primary or Secondary trained
* Experience of working with children with SEMH or complex additional needs (desirable)
* A calm, consistent and nurturing approach to teaching and behaviour
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Resilience, empathy and a genuine passion for inclusive education
