GBR Recruitment Ltd are proud to be working in partnership with a leading Recycling / Material Handling machinery manufacturing business based in Northamptonshire, recruiting for an experienced Design Engineer who is highly proficient in using SolidWorks design software. As the Design Engineer you will be strong in designing sheet metal fabricated parts & large structural components for large scale machinery (cutting, bending, moulding, forming & assembling processes), plus with strong knowledge of weldments & designing high capital machinery solutions within automated MHE conveyor systems / recycling systems (compactors, balers, tippers, feeders etc.). If you are keen to support the design of high capital machinery & if you possess strong detailing of fabricated products experience, along with 2D & 3D draughting using SolidWorks 3D design software.then this could be the ideal design role for you. Designer Duties: * Producing technical drawings of high quality & continuity. * Produce detailed manufacturing drawings of machinery, structures, components & layouts from 3D models (on SolidWorks). * Produce accurate fabrication drawings (Steel Fabrications). * Produce accurate assembly drawings. * Produce BOM’s (Bill of Materials). * Ensuring the drawings & parts database is up to date. * Work closely with manufacturing, engineering & sales teams.
