Payroll Manager - Permanent - Hybrid - London - up to £75,000 per annum
Oakleaf Partnership is delighted to be partnered again, with a well known retailer, that is looking for a Payroll Manager, on a permanent basis. The Payroll Manager will ensure hands on support is provided, with the responsibility to lead and develop a team of 4, to continuously improve and simplify process and controls. This role is on a hybrid basis, consisting of 3 day per week, in their central London office.
The Payroll Manager will be assisting/overseeing duties such as:
Oversee end to end payroll processing for all UK & RIO, consisting of 7,000 volume
Overview of global process of auto enrolment and postponement, not currently automated through the payroll
Initiate and drive process improvements, automation, and efficiency initiatives
Lead a team of 4 payrollers
Preparation and posting of payroll journals for the company P&L
To work closely with HR and Ops to identify best practice and continuously improve process compliance.
Key Skills:
Excellent hands on experience of full payroll processing from beginning to end
Proven managerial experience
People person with good hands-on management skills and a team motivator
Able to work in a complex structure, fast paced environment that constantly evolves and has a can do attitude
Analytically driven and responsible for creating innovative solutions to support the business
Highly organised, able to work to tight deadlines, and comfortable in a fast paced environment
