UX Consultant (GDS)
đź“Ť UK Wide | Hybrid (1 day per week in London, Manchester or Glasgow)
We're looking for a UX Designer with experience delivering user-centred digital services within GDS and public sector environments.
You'll join a multidisciplinary Agile team, helping to design accessible, intuitive services that meet user needs and align with Government Digital Service standards.
What you'll be doing
* Designing end-to-end user experiences for digital products and services
* Creating user journeys, personas, service blueprints and wireframes
* Building interactive prototypes using Figma and GOV.UK Prototype Kit
* Working closely with User Researchers, Product Owners, Developers and Business Analysts
* Applying GDS principles, accessibility standards and user-centred design best practices
* Presenting and justifying design decisions to stakeholders
What we're looking for
* Experience working on GDS or public sector digital projects
* Strong understanding of GDS Service Standards and GOV.UK Design System
* Experience creating UX and service design artefacts
* Strong prototyping skills using Figma
* Experience working in Agile, cross-functional teams
* Knowledge of HTML, CSS and GOV.UK Prototype Kit would be beneficial
* Eligible for SC Clearance (existing clearance is advantageous)
