An exciting opportunity to lead a well-established 21-bed residential care home, previously rated Good by CQC. We are looking for an experienced, compassionate Care Home Manager or Deputy Manager (minimum 2 years’ leadership experience) to join our dedicated team. NVQ Level 5 preferred. Golden Horizon Care Home is a well-established 21-bed residential care home in Bewdley, previously rated Good by CQC. We continue to build on these strong foundations, providing high-quality, person-centred care in a warm and supportive environment where residents feel valued and cared for.

We are seeking a passionate, capable and experienced Care Home Manager to lead our dedicated team and maintain the excellent standards of care that residents and their families expect.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring safe, personalised care for all residents.

*

Maintain full compliance with CQC regulations, safeguarding and governance requirements.

*

Oversee staffing, recruitment, training, rotas and professional development.

*

Build positive relationships with residents, families, staff, external professionals and regulators.

*

Manage budgeting, financial planning and resource allocation effectively.

*

Promote a positive, kind and inclusive working culture that supports staff and residents alike.

The Ideal Candidate:

*

Experienced Care Home Manager or Deputy Manager with at least 2 years’ leadership experience.

*

NVQ Level 5 in Leadership for Health & Social Care (or working towards).

*

Strong knowledge of elderly care, dementia care, safeguarding and CQC compliance.

*

Excellent leadership, staff management, organisational and communication skills.

*

Collaborative and professional approach with external agencies, families and professionals.

*

Committed to delivering person-centred care with dignity, respect and compassion.
