Subject to formal establishment, a vacancy will arise for a Sqn Ldr (WSO (ME)) to serve as SO2 Digital Products at RAF Brize Norton on Full Time Reserve Service (Limited Commitment) Terms and Conditions of Service (TCoS), with an initial proposed start date of being not before 23 February 2026. SO2 AM Capability Generation Digital Products roles and responsibilities are: Identify capability shortfalls and future requirements across the Air Mobility Force. Generate and sustain AM Fce Digital Product capability by staffing Initial Look Requests (ILRs), Formal Change Requests (FCRs) and Business Cases/Statement of Requirements (SOR) for financial approval and contract placement. Advise on Digital Product capability, identifying areas of improvement and development where appropriate. Provide SME advice on Digital Products to the FHQ, higher commands and Other Government Departments, when required. Provide Digital Product SME advice to Project and Programme WGs effectively to achieve aims and ensure full stakeholder understanding. Complete AM Fce Contracting, Purchasing & Finance (CP&F) payments and creation of demand acquisitions and requisitions. Manage digital hardware product capability and availability. Manage software contracting/re-contracting. Complete commercial guidance for designated officer steps routinely and effectively. Fulfil 1 Gp AM FHQ Cap Gen (Strategic) SO2/Deputy duties as required. Act as 1 Gp, AM FHQ, Cap Gen (Strategic) SO1, when directed.
