Job Description
We are currently looking for a technical sales engineer to join our dedicated and fast growing sales team with responsibility for our products and business development in the Aerospace and Defence markets.
Responsibilities
* Establish and understand client requirements and specifications through technical/commercial meetings.
* Prepare quotations and assist with product selection according to specifications.
* Negotiate commercial contracts.
* Provide technical expertise and support tailored to client needs.
* Build and sustain good working relationships with existing and new clients.
* Identify and develop new business opportunities.
* Collaborate with internal teams such as engineering, production and suppliers to meet customer requirements.
* Prepare technical proposals and present these to clients.
* Complete monthly sales reports.
Requirements, skills and experience
* Engineering knowledge, specific knowledge in technical business development would be an advantage.
* Experience of managing key clients relationships and generating new enquiries.
* Be driven, comfortable with meeting new people and developing relationships within a commercial environment.
* Excellent communication and organisation skills.
* Hold a full UK driving licence.
