An experienced Document Controller is required to support pre-construction and live construction projects. This role focuses on managing, tracking, and maintaining accurate project documentation while supporting project teams.
Due to location and occasional site visits a full UK driving license will be required.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage document control systems across multiple projects
* Track, log, and distribute drawings and technical documents
* Maintain document registers and ensure strict version control
* Upload/manage files on client systems and Common Data Environments (CDEs)
* Liaise with internal teams, clients, consultants, and subcontractors
* Monitor project correspondence and ensure proper documentation storage
* Provide administrative support and assist with document retrieval
* Attend occasional site visits as required
Requirements
* Proven Document Controller experience within UK construction
* Strong understanding of document control and drawing processes
* Experience with document management systems/CDEs
* Excellent organisation and attention to detail
* Strong communication skills
* Proficient in Microsoft Office
* Ability to manage multiple projects independently
* Full UK driving licence
