Finance Assistant

To assist the Financial Controller and Finance Team Leader in the delivery and governance of finance services in a manner that achieves both value for money for our client and sustainable shareholder value consistent with the contract, tender and agreed processes in the spirit of mutual trust and co-operation.
The Role
•Receive and verify invoices for goods and services ensuring compliance with the organisations financial policies and procedures.
•Ensure all invoices received are input into the financial systems in a timely manner
•Match and process invoices
•Resolve any invoice discrepancies
•Processing expenses claims
About You
•Demonstrated knowledge of accounts payable processes and procedures
•Previous experience in a similar role
•Basic knowledge of general accounting procedures and policies
•Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively and build relationships with peers and vendors
•Demonstrable awareness of all environmental aspects and the impacts and waste management.
•Effective time management and prioritisation skills to ensure deadlines are met
