Offer description

About Willow & Puddifoot:

We build confident, capable leaders - at every stage. Our award-winning leadership development programmes are designed to create lasting behaviour change and help organisations build happy, healthy, high-performing teams.

We're a small but growing business, investing in our marketing so we can reach more HR, L&D, and business leaders who want to develop their managers and leaders.

Role Purpose:

To plan, coordinate, and deliver Willow & Puddifoot's marketing activity, ensuring campaigns, content, and communications are organised and on-brand, with the goal of generating leads and supporting business growth.

About the Role:

We're looking for a marketing person who enjoys seeing campaigns through from start to finish. You'll take ownership of our marketing activity - planning campaigns, coordinating tasks, and keeping everything running smoothly.

This is a varied and practical role: one day you might be writing and scheduling LinkedIn posts, the next setting up a webinar registration page, writing our monthly newsletter, or uploading a blog to the website.

You'll work closely with Louise (MD) as the thought leader and content source, but you'll be trusted to take the lead - planning, creating, and making sure all the moving parts come together.

This role is ideal for someone who loves variety, enjoys making things happen, and takes pride in getting the details right.

Responsibilities:

This list includes the main areas you'll focus on but is not exhaustive, there may be other tasks and projects as the business evolves.

Campaign Planning & Delivery

* Plan and deliver multi-channel campaigns for our core programmes (LinkedIn, email marketing, webinars, Sales Navigator messaging, etc.).
* Coordinate with the team to produce supporting assets (how-to guides, checklists, case studies).
* Organise and host webinars and events (manage setup, invites, reminders, and resources, and be there on the day to welcome attendees and ensure everything runs smoothly).

Content & Communications

* Write and send our monthly newsletter.
* Publish blogs (either self-written or editing pieces from the team).
* Create and schedule LinkedIn posts for the company page and support Louise's personal page.
* Draft emails and simple nurture flows (Mailchimp or similar).

Marketing Systems

* Use AI tools thoughtfully to make campaigns more efficient, while ensuring content stays human and on brand.
* Keep the CRM contact database accurate and up to date.
* Source targeted email lists and segment audiences.
* Maintain a clear, structured marketing calendar.
* Track and report on KPIs, providing insights into what's working.

Website & Brand

* Upload blogs, resources, and case studies to the website.
* Check all marketing content for accuracy, quality, and brand consistency before publishing.

Community & Visibility

* Invite relevant contacts to follow our company LinkedIn page.
* Help prepare award submissions, gather testimonials/case studies, and look for opportunities to raise our profile.
* Monitor competitors and industry trends, sharing fresh, relevant ideas.

About You:

* Campaign-minded – you enjoy coming up with ideas for campaigns and finding new ways to get our message in front of the right audience.
* Curious and expansive thinker – you look for better ways of doing things, spot opportunities, and think ahead.
* Results-focused – you like to see the commercial impact of your work and look for ways to improve outcomes.
* Organised and detail-oriented – you get satisfaction from keeping projects running smoothly and making sure nothing slips through the cracks.
* Quality-focused – you take pride in accurate, well-presented work and double-check details before hitting send or publish.
* Structured and systematic – you like working to a plan and creating order so everyone stays on track.
* Hands-on and proactive – you don't wait to be told what to do; you spot what's needed and make it happen.
* Digitally fluent and AI-savvy – you're confident using digital tools and AI to make marketing campaigns more efficient and creative, while ensuring everything we publish feels human and true to our voice.
* Collaborative and people-smart – you work well with colleagues and enjoy being part of a supportive, close-knit team.
* Flexible and adaptable – you're comfortable adjusting to the evolving needs of a growing business.
* Aligned with our values – you appreciate the importance of trust, generosity, and growth, and you reflect these in how you work.

Experience:

* At least 2–3 years' experience in a marketing role.
* Proven ability to write engaging content for email, social media, and blogs.
* Hands-on experience with email marketing platforms (e.g. Mailchimp or similar) and social scheduling tools.
* Experience using CRM systems and keeping data accurate and well-organised.
* Comfortable working independently and prioritising tasks, with a track record of meeting deadlines.
