This school is now looking to appoint a passionate and experienced SEN Teacher to join their team from September. The Setting: This is a well-established provision catering exclusively to students with EHCPs and a diagnosis of ASC. Housed in a modern, purpose-built facility, the school is thoughtfully designed to support the unique needs of autistic learners - from sensory-friendly classrooms to calm breakout spaces. The Role: As an SEN Teacher, you will: - Plan and deliver tailored lessons that meet the needs of autistic learners - Create a safe, supportive classroom environment that reduces anxiety and promotes engagement - Use autism-specific strategies (e.g. visual supports, TEACCH, PECS) to support learning and communication - Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, and families to provide a consistent and holistic approach - Contribute to EHCP reviews, target setting, and progress monitoring About You: We're looking for someone who: - Holds QTS or QTLS with experience teaching children with SEN - Has a strong understanding of Autism and how it impacts learning and behaviour - Is confident in using structured, low-arousal approaches to support emotional regulation - Is patient, reflective, and passionate about inclusive education Interested?
