Data Administrator - Derby

We currently have an opportunity for a Data Administrator to join our newly established Service in Derby. Our ideal candidate will have the skills and experience to provide administrative support to the service and provide accurate and timely data in line with requirements. This is an office based, administrative position.

Anticipated Start date: 1st of April 2026
Hours: Full time, 37.5 hrs per week
Full time Salary: £25,077.00 per annum, pro rata
Full-time hours at Change Grow Live are 37.5 hours per week. For part-time roles, the salary and payments will be pro rata based on contracted hours.
Responsibilities
What You’ll Do
Support the service through excellent data management
You’ll work closely with the Service Manager, Team Leader, and wider team to collect, input, and monitor key service data across multiple systems — ensuring accuracy, compliance, and insight.
Keep the office running smoothly
You’ll provide high‑quality administrative support including office management, system coordination, and day‑to‑day organisation that keeps our Derby U25 service functioning efficiently.
Build strong relationships
You’ll work positively with Change Grow Live Business Support and external suppliers to maintain our resources, equipment, and office needs.
Ensure information stays organised and accessible
You’ll manage electronic filing systems (such as CRIIS or equivalent) so that service user information is stored safely, clearly, and in line with governance requirements.
Support our digital and tech operations
From basic IT troubleshooting to managing office equipment, you’ll help keep our tech environment running well for the whole team.
Help with practical admin tasks
Photocopying, laminating, preparing reports, binding documents — you’ll make sure all administrative tasks are completed to a high standard.
About You
You’ll thrive in this role if you bring:
1. Strong administrative experience in a busy office environment
2. Confidence using IT systems, including data collection tools (., NDTMS, Public Health reporting systems)
3. Solid skills in Word, Excel, and Access
4. Knowledge of databases and data management processes
5. Experience developing or improving data workflows
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
7. Great organisational skills and attention to detail
8. Good numerical ability
9. Experience generating prescriptions from database systems (desirable)
10. Confidence delivering training on data systems (desirable)
