Support the learning, development, and well-being of children within Maple Class.
Work collaboratively with the IAP Lead, Deputy Lead, SENCo and colleagues to deliver tailored support.
Foster a nurturing and inclusive environment that promotes independence and social inclusion.
Assist in implementing individual education and care plans.
Contribute to the ongoing development of the provision to best meet the needs of the children.
Person Specification:
Kindness, commitment, and a genuine desire to make a positive difference in children’s lives are essential.
Experience working with children with high needs or ASD is beneficial but not essential.
Willingness to learn and engage with relevant training and support to succeed in the role.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate well with colleagues and families.
Why Join Us?
Be part of a supportive, forward-thinking team passionate about inclusion and child development.
Access to ongoing professional development and support from experienced SENCo and leadership.
Make a meaningful impact on the lives of children in a nurturing school community.
Additional information:
Visits to the school are encouraged prior to application. This can be arranged by emailing the school office on [email protected], or by phone on 01438 715278.
The school reserves the right to close the recruitment process early for the right candidate.
The role is fixed term for 1-year. This may be extended based on the needs of the school.
The successful candidate must be flexible and able to work in other areas of the school, if required.
The profile of the IAP is likely to change in time, as pupils are allocated places at specialist schools, or as needs change. The successful candidate must be aware that the nature of the role may change as a result.
