An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Lecturer to join the School of Education and Lifelong Learning. In this role, you will contribute to teaching across our undergraduate programmes—the BA Education cluster and the BSc Physical Education, Sport and Health (PESH) cluster—while also supervising students at undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral levels. The post also includes course leadership responsibilities within the BA Education cluster.
Based on our vibrant campus, you will benefit from close links with outstanding educational and sporting facilities, including the Sainsbury Centre for Visual Arts and the UEA Sportspark.
Responsibilities
* Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Education and/or Physical Education.
* Supervise and advise students at undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral levels.
* Lead and develop courses within the BA Education cluster.
* Embed the latest research and scholarship into teaching.
Qualifications
* Substantial teaching experience in higher education.
* Proven ability to embed research and scholarship into teaching.
* Expertise in one or more of the following areas: Philosophy and History of Education; Education, Politics, and Policy; Educational Psychology; Education, Culture, and Media; Youth cultures and Literacies; Physical Education and Sport; Health Education and Sport.
* Leadership experience in higher education or a comparable setting (advantageous).
