About the Role
As a Care Team Leader, you will oversee the night shift team, ensuring residents receive compassionate, person-centered care tailored to their needs. You will lead by example, providing guidance, support, and encouragement to staff while maintaining high standards in line with regulatory requirements.
1. Leading the care team to deliver outstanding support to residents with dementia
2. Ensuring care plans are followed and updated appropriately
3. Providing hands-on care when needed, fostering dignity and independence
4. Overseeing medication administration and health monitoring
5. Supporting and mentoring night staff to maintain best practices
6. Communicating effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professional
What We’re Looking For:
7. Experience working in a dementia care setting
8. A Level 3 Health & Social Care qualification (or willingness to work towards it)
9. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
10. Good knowledge of safeguarding and care standard
