Assistant Accountant – Hybrid 3 days onsite Salary: Up to £32,000 Location: Leeds Are you a part qualified (ACCA / CIMA / AAT) accounting professional looking to develop your career within a collaborative and fast paced finance team? We’re looking for an Assistant Accountant who will play a key role in supporting the financial reporting and month end processes across multiple ledgers within EMEA. You’ll be working in a modern hybrid setup, within a business that truly values accuracy, ownership and professional growth.
Key Responsibilities Prepare and analyse financial data, ensuring accurate and timely month end closure. Carry out balance sheet reviews and investigate or escalate discrepancies as needed. Manage accruals, prepayments and expense accounting.
Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal control procedures. Support in producing reports, statements and financial insights for internal use. What We’re Looking For Part qualified or studying towards ACCA / CIMA/ AAT .
Strong analytical mindset and confident working with large data sets in Excel. Detail oriented, organised, and comfortable managing tight deadlines. Self motivated, with a practical approach to problem solving.
