Our global professional services firm client is growing its Financial Services Tax team in Scotland and is looking for a technically capable Manager to join its Asset & Wealth Management practice. Compliance delivery is handled by specialist centres. This role sits closer to the client — combining oversight, advisory exposure and real management responsibility.
The Opportunity
This is an advisory-focused role in a team supporting high-profile UK and multinational clients.
You will:
* Manage corporate tax affairs for a portfolio of Financial Services clients
* Build direct client relationships
* Oversee and review compliance processes delivered offshore
* Interrogate reporting outputs and identify risks or improvements
* Support audit of tax work
* Contribute to major transactions, international structuring and reorganisations
* Gain exposure to BEPS planning, divestments and acquisitions
For many Managers, this is the ideal transition: leveraging a strong compliance/reporting background while progressively building advisory capability.
Who This Will Suit
You might currently be:
* A Corporate Tax Manager in practice
* A Funds Tax or Operational Tax specialist
* An in‑house tax professional with strong reporting experience
* CA / ACCA / ACA / CTA qualified (or equivalent)
* You likely have solid UK tax technical grounding and experience in compliance and reporting.
