COMMUNITY SUPPORT WORKER (COMMUNITY FIELD WORKER)
SALARY: £25,000pa - £25,633pa (dependant on experience)
HOURS: 35 Hours per week, 8:30am – 4:00pm Monday – Friday
We are recruiting for an enthusiastic and positive thinking Community Field Worker. We currently cover Harrow, Hillingdon and Brent areas. The role involves collecting a small group of service users from their home address in a CMSS vehicle, and supporting them in the Community or at our fully accessible Centre based in Northwood Hills.
Responsibilities
· Picking up and dropping off service users in a Company vehicle
· Planning and running in house sessions
· Researching and planning trips out in the Community
· Supporting service users during in house sessions such as independent living skills, Zumba, yoga, gym, arts and crafts
· Supporting service users at activities in the Community such as swimming, shopping, bowling and social events
Requirements
· NVQ / QCF Level 2 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
· 1 year experience of working with children or adults with disabilities within a social care setting
· A flexible approach to work, passion and a strong affinity with disabled people
· Excellent organisational and people management skills
· A full, manual driving licence (no more than 3 points)
· A minimum of 2 years driving experience
