Automation QA Engineer
We are recruiting for a Automation QA Engineer with Insurance experience to join one of our insurance clients on a 6-month contract

Responsibilities:
1. Take complete ownership of automating applications within the existing automation framework.
2. Analyse applications and identify areas for automation, optimization, and continuous improvement.
3. Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for functional, regression, and integration testing.
4. Enhance the current automation framework and suggest innovative approaches to improve performance, scalability, and maintainability.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Development, Business Analysts, Project Managers) to define automation requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
6. Propose and implement strategies to improve automation speed, accuracy, and reliability.
7. Participate in new QA initiatives, including AI-driven testing, data validation automation, and continuous integration enhancements.
8. Contribute to establishing best practices, coding standards, and reusable components for automation.
9. Identify and mitigate risks in the automation lifecycle, ensuring consistent and reliable testing outcomes.
Experience
10. Hands-on experience in automation tools such as Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, Cypress, Playwright, or similar.
11. Strong programming/scripting skills in C# or Java
12. Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps).
13. Exposure to API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured, ).
14. Experience in data-driven testing and validation across complex systems or insurance applications.
15. Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and QA best practices.
16. Experience in improving and maintaining automation frameworks to support scalable test execution.
17. Knowledge of the insurance domain (underwriting, claims, policy management) is an advantage
