Training Executive Officer, Temporary, £12.28 per hour
Your New CompanyHays are partnering with a public sector organisation to recruit for a temporary Training Executive Officer to assist the Training Manager and Training Coordinator deliver the duties of the Training Department efficiently and effectively.
Your New Role
1. Liaising with stakeholders to determine the process of recruitment
2. Create and manage vacancies via the online application system
3. Coordination of dates and panel membership for shortlisting and interviews, ensuring at all times that there is compliance with equality and diversity legislation
4. Coordinate interview schedules
5. Ensuring all documentation for interviews is prepared
6. Assist with the arrangements for pre-placement checks, including references for those appointed.
7. Provide advice and information to panel members as appropriate
8. To coordinate the allocation of placements
9. Informing the candidates of their placements in line with the Code of Practice
10. Coordination of dates and schedule of assessment
11. Circulation of materials prior to assessment and collation of trainee’s documentation
12. To assist the Revalidation Executive Officer in ensuring that all relevant information is available to enable the Responsible Officer to make revalidation recommendations on behalf of the trainees being assessed.
13. Communication with members regarding meetings
14. Preparing Agendas and recording action logs
15. Circulating actions logs following the meeting in a timely manner
16. Undertaking own follow up actions as required
17. Providing advice and information to the Specialty School Board and Training Committees
18. To oversee arrangements for courses and teaching programmes, including booking speakers, venue etc.
19. To maintain a database of attendance
What You’ll Need to Succeed
20. 2 years’ experience in a similar position
21. 2 year’s experience working with Microsoft Office
22. Ability to maintain and improve services, systems and customer service to meet high standards of quality and professionalism.
23. Ability to ensure a high level of accuracy in own work.
24. Ability to plan ahead and work to deadlines, including prioritisation of own workload and that of others.
25. Ability to manage, analyse and evaluate information to aid effective decision making.
26. Ability to plan, allocate and evaluate work for staff and self.
