This role involves coordinating engineers, maintaining high standards of compliance with BS 5839, and ensuring all service work is completed efficiently and to a professional standard.
Main Duties Oversee the daily delivery of fire alarm maintenance, testing, and remedial work.
Organise engineer diaries and manage workloads to maximise productivity.
Track service performance and ensure contractual commitments are met.
Offer technical support to both engineers and customers.
Make sure all work adheres to BS 5839 and relevant regulations.
Carry out quality checks and review completed jobs for compliance.
Manage stock levels, equipment, and the movement of materials.
Handle customer queries, escalations, and service-related concerns.
Support the development of the engineering team through training and guidance.
What Were Looking For Background in fire alarm servicing or service management.
Solid understanding of BS 5839 (Parts 1 and/or 6).
Experience coordinating engineers or managing service operations.
Strong organisational and communication skills.
Full UK driving licence.
Desirable Skills & Experience FIA training or similar fire alarm qualifications.
Familiarity with CAFM/service management software. xjlbheb
