As a Mobile Mechanic in the Service, Maintenance & Repair division, you’ll bring expert vehicle maintenance and diagnostic skills directly to our customers, wherever they are. You’ll receive a RAC van, fuel card, full uniform, essential tools and a diagnostic kit from day one.
Competitive base salary of £38,625, with on‑target earnings up to £55,000 (inclusive of London Weighting Allowance, if applicable). A guaranteed overtime option can increase your base salary to £44,385, plus additional overtime and bonus opportunities. Work is 40 hours per week, with core hours from 08:30 to 17:00 and one in four Saturdays. No CV is required – it’s easier than ever to start your journey with us.

* Deliver first‑class service on driveways and office car parks, representing the RAC with pride.
* Manage stock, complete reporting, and keep customer conversations flowing.
* Think on your feet and make the right call for each customer on the spot.

* You think on your feet. You’ll trust yourself to make the right call for each customer.
Qualifications
* Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent).
* At least 3 years of hands‑on experience as a vehicle technician working with a range of light vehicles.
* A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.
