We are currently seeking a Warehouse Supervisor for our BSS Swindon branch.
Where Will You Be Working?
BSS, a subsidiary of Travis Perkins Group, is looking for a talented Warehouse Supervisor to take charge of BSS Swindon branch. The branch is already staffed with a team of 7 colleagues with 2 people within the warehouse, operating 2 delivery vehicles while serving a large number of customers per day.
What Will You Be Doing?
Working Monday to Friday (no weekends!) as a Warehouse Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring our continued success by providing excellent service while maintaining a safe and efficient yard. You will also spearhead and inspire our drivers and yard team, who are on the front line dealing with our customers.

What Are You Responsible For?
As Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for:
4. People: Leading, motivating, and engaging a team to empower the yard and drivers to work together as one. You will also ensure that succession planning is in place to drive talent sustainability and mentor management apprentices as required.
5. Stay Safe: Promoting a healthy workplace and colleague wellbeing while setting the tone and championing a Stay Safe culture across the branch at all times.
6. Customers: Developing strong relationships with customers to build profitable business growth.
7. Operations: Managing the full operation of the branch yard, ensuring adequate provision is made for customer deliveries, branch layout meets What Great Looks Like standards for safety and storage efficiency, and maintaining good housekeeping.
What Experience Do You Need?
The ideal candidate will already be running a small to medium-sized team in a similar role and bring with them transferable skills, including leadership, great customer service, and health and safety.
