Cuurently they are seeking a confident Finance Manager to successful management and control of all aspects of financial control and cash management within the division to maximize profitability and protect company assets and to manage proactively the control of all commercial issues. This is to include providing financial support to supporting commercial teams and senior management across the region utilising experience and knowledge of the industry/field.
Roles and Responsibilities as Finance Manager:
* Proving back-office services such as accounts payable and collection.
* Manager VAT, payroll and CIS activities.
* Ensure sales and purchase ledger, wages, journal, credit control and expenses are all up to date.
* Monitor cashflow effectively to meet operational requirements.
* Ensure VAT returns are accurately calculated and logged with HMRC.
* Accurate production of PAYE returns and year end accounts.
* CIS Subcontractors & wages are accurately recorded on Sage Payroll and Sage CIS receptively.
* Liaise with external accountants, banks, solicitors, HMRC and management of auditors.
* Maintain company car records and fixed asset register.
* Ensure the business meets all its statutory and compliance obligations.
* Responsible for all corporate taxes.
* Prepare month end files for review.
* Ensure all month end journals are posted prior to month end close.
* Monitor and chase retention payments.
* Understand and adhere to financial regulations and legislation.
* Deal with accounts queries promptly and professionally.
* Develop and maintain good working relationships with colleagues
