An exciting opportunity to join a fast paced / high growth E-commerce retail business as a warehouse team member.
The person in this role needs to be adaptable, conscientious, and above all take pride in their work. Mondays are our busiest day so the right candidate must be available to work that day in particular. The role is offered on a zero hour contract as hours may vary. However, we are heading in to peak trading and so do expect there to be lots of hours available
The role will be to ensure all customer orders are picked and packed accurately and dispatched in line with company promise of same day dispatch, and dealing with the goods in. The role is offered at £12.21 per hour with holiday pay in addition. This is a zero hour contract role and weekly rotas will be issued however hours can vary but we are looking for people who can offer daytime hours across the week Monday-Friday (Monday being essential)
* Picking orders quickly and accurately, checking the full quantity is picked and the correct items are sent
* Packing items quickly and carefully in a manner that minimises postal breakages and is appealing to the customer.
* Ensuring the correct documentation is sent on international parcels
* Maintaining accurate stock levels through accurate picking
* Dealing with goods in, in terms of checking what has been received matches to what was ordered
* Checking quality of goods on arrival
* Converting kilos of goods received to accurate actual number of items
Minimum Requirements
* Ability to pick accurately and at speed
* Ability to pack orders presentably and well protected
* Ability to work to tight deadlines
* Good attention to detail
* Good organisational skills, punctual and reliable
* Self-motivated and enthusiastic with a "can do" attitude
* E-commerce warehouse experience desirable
* Experience and knowledge of spiritual products would be an advantage
* Able to work Mondays
* Attention to detail and overall care taken in work done
