Key Responsibilities 1. Lead the Charity Be the visible face of the charity externally building relationships with all critical stakeholders. Lead and inspire the whole staff team and volunteers. Maintain and develop the charitys person-centred approach. Prepare the organisation for due diligence assessments in preparation for tendering contracts. 2. Develop and implement the vision for the charity and its work in Nottingham and beyond Set the vision and goals for the charity in consultation with the Board, staff and service users. Recognise and seize new opportunities where they further the aims of the charity. Lead for growth in reach and impact. Establish clear measurable goals and create momentum. 3. Select, lead and direct the team Develop and coach the management team. Support and strengthen the team via training, development and supervision. Ensure that the staff are collectively reviewing their work as a team and celebrating their achievements. Implement robust health and safety protocols to protect staff, volunteers, and beneficiaries. Working with other expertise, develop and implement the requirements for Emmanuel House to achieve Registered Provider Status. 4. Represent and advocate for the Charity and its work in Nottingham and beyond Represent the charity with key stakeholders with integrity and credibility. Identify and advocate for the role of the charity in wider eco-structure of homelessness services in Nottingham and beyond. Lead advocacy efforts to influence policy and raise awareness about issues affecting the organisations beneficiaries. Maintain updated records of key stakeholders and develop a communication plan for stakeholder engagement. Prepare and compile comprehensive due diligence reports summarising all preparations, findings, and supporting documents. Ensure readiness to present the organisations compliance, financial health, operational effectiveness, and continuous improvement efforts to the local authority. 5. Collaborate with the trustees to maintain to secure the long-term financial and professional stability of the charity Ensure the charity has the financial resources to meet its vision. Have clear accountability and responsibility for all budgets and forecasts, identifying any financial risks and opportunities to the Board of Trustees. Monitor and report on the financial position of the Charity and to ensure the Board is fully informed. Ensure that all policies and procedures are in place for full legal and professional compliance. Ensure that the charity meets all its statutory requirements as a charity under the jurisdiction of the Charity Commission.
